Vision Board for Kids
What are Vision Boards? Vision Boards are visuals that help you stay connected and focussed on your goals. I am a goal oriented person and I love the idea of a Vision Board. I have been wanting to create a Vision Board for myself and decided to make it a mother- daughter project. I encouraged Arya to set her own goals and create her own Vision Board. We had so much fun creating our Vision Boards together. Here, I am sharing the steps we took to create our Vision Boards. Hope you all have fun creating one with your kids.
- Make a list of the goals that you want to achieve. Goals can be small or big. For Arya, the goals are as simple as catching her School bus on time every day. Her goals for the summer were – learning to Swim and Paint etc.
- Take a poster board/paper, draw a heart and write I am Statements that fit your dreams and goals.
- Cut out related images from Magazines. We cut out a picture of a watch for time.
- You can draw pictures of your goals if you cannot find suitable images in the magazines.
- Cut out words of inspiration.
- Arrange the picture cutouts on a work board/paper so that everything is clearly visible and nothing is hidden.
- Glue them.
- Decorate with Washi tape, stickers etc.
- Display the Vision Board on your bedroom wall and manifest it everyday.
- Celebrate and reward every little milestone.
